TAMU POULTRY SCIENCE FEED MILL

Description

Replaced an existing feed mixing system, Weigh-Tronix feed processing system (1-ton capacity), with a new 2-ton mash feed processing system capable of a minimum 4-ton per hour production rate. A Scott Ribbon Mixer & Surge Hopper with Discharge Conveyor was mounted on load cells that interface with a controller which accurately displays total weight of feed. The Weight Controller also stops any of 5 feed augers upon reaching target weight. This Project also re-routed & updated of the discharge from bulk bins # 1-6 to input these materials directly into the new mixer unit.
